Friends of Millet Public Library

Be a Friend of the Millet Public Library

The "friends" are an advocacy group, separate from the Library Board and the Library Staff. We raise funds for projects that are not able to be met in the library budget. As you know libraries are non-profit organizations and funds for projects have always been a challenge. With help from the Friends our library is able to do much more within our community.

We can provide official tax receipts for any donations over $20.00, be it financial or otherwise. Consider us for memorial gifts, donations in lieu of gifts, and charitable donations for income tax purposes. All cheques should be made out to 'Friends of Millet Library Society.'

Mission Statement

To provide books, literary or audio-visual materials, computers, equipment and furnishings to the Millet Public Library. To help publicize and promote improved library services and aid in providing funds to meet special library needs. To support adequate space and help the library meet research, informational and recreational needs.
